1) Did you enjoy the talks and workshops?

rating: 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵⚪️

I enjoyed the talks quite a bit. I thought the technical and non-technical presentations were interesting.

2) How comfortable were you with the technical content covered during the talks?

rating: 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵

I develop on Ethereum on my own personal projects and follow closely what happens in the space, so I was really comfortable with the level of the technical content.

3) What did you think of the venue?

rating: 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵⚪️⚪️

I like the sports Castle as a venue, except for the draftiness and when listening to talks on the main stage, the noise coming from the 'shills' section was at times so loud that it would cover the speaker's voice.

4) How would you rate your overall experience?

rating: 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵

I had an awesome time, got to meet some of the people that are driving Ethereum forward and I loved to discover new things! I also loved the 'extra' stuff like meditations and gong sessions, small presentation from Dmitry Buterin was truly amazing.

5) Did you have the resources needed to work on your hack?

Before the event, I was undecided on whether to hack or attend the presentations, and decided on the former because of all the presentations I felt I had to attend.

6) Extra comments or suggestions?

Find a way to block the noise coming from the second floor (put some drapes or egg cartons ;-) )
Find a way to make the place less drafty. In particular the moon stage felt really cold and drafty.

I did not make a video.

1) Did you enjoy the talks and workshops?
I was actually hacking the entire time so I didn't get to see many. But the talks I did see were very interesting. I liked ETH.BUILD

2) How comfortable were you with the technical content covered during the talks?

Decently comfortable, didn't feel like the content flew over my head too much
3) What did you think of the venue?
AAA. Amazing, couldn't be better. Except for lack of bathrooms

4) How would you rate your overall experience?
10/10, would not ask for more

5) Did you have the resources needed to work on your hack?
Overall yes, some of the bounty sponsors could have been more available though.

6) Extra comments or suggestions?
If there were more incentive for hacker teams to work together that would be very interesting

1) Did you enjoy the talks and workshops?

rating: 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵⚪️⚪️

  • I enjoyed most of the workshops, but, some of them looked a bit improvised making the topic a bit difficult to understand. Also, There was too much noise from other places that might have hurt the experience of attending a particular workshop.

2) How comfortable were you with the technical content covered during the talks?

rating: 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵

  • I was capable of following up every talk, it's worth noting that I'm a bit familiar with some technical aspects of ethereum tho.

3) What did you think of the venue?

rating: 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵⚪️

-The sports castle was a really big and great place to host this event, the only inconvenient I found was that if there were several talks happening at the same time, the noise of them would interfere each other.

4) How would you rate your overall experience?

rating: 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵++

  • It was the coolest event I've ever seen, and the very first time I attended a hackaton :).

5) Did you have the resources needed to work on your hack?

  • I didn't come with the intentions of participating in the hackaton, and besides that, I only have my smartphone to hack, probably, I could have done something interesting with just that, but I felt like I needed to know more about how to build dapps on top of ethereum. Maybe I should have give it a try and hack on something anyways :).

6) Extra comments or suggestions?

  • Be prepared for noisy environments, and if a talk it's not going to happen in-time it might be better to just reschedule that particular talk.

  • Hackers should have more than 3 minutes to present their projects, these folks spend 2 stressful days on creating a new dapp and they probably deserve more time to explain their ideas. (I have the opportunity to see a team giving up on their project, not sure why it happened tho, but they were clearly burnt out).

  • Everybody should dance in the after party! 😅
