(apologies for the potato quality photo) Bought the next person in line their drink (an americano) by giving extra cash to the cashier. The woman who received her drink was on her way to work and thanked me, telling me it set a good tone for her day!

On a rainy Friday at Canteen in Brooklyn, I offered to buy the woman in line behind me a coffee. My good deed was met with suspicion, followed by awkward stares. I quickly explained that a customer the previous day had paid for my coffee, so I wanted to do the same for someone else. The suspicion lingered, so I paid and left. Good deeds can throw people off in Brooklyn, Ed specially on rainy days. Also the cafe uses the Square app, so I got an electronic receipt.

Today, while walking in a Zagreb lake on a beautiful day, I spotted this girl sitting alone and having a cup of cappuccino. I offered to pay and to my surprise she accepted! A really nice moment, perhaps I should do it more often. :P

I was in Jakarta airport with my gf when a man in front of us was having some transaction issues with his credit card. I volunteered to buy him his coffee. My gf kept a picture of the bill.
